Objectives of this Checklist

Checklist

• ER/MR Milestone is approved.
• Print Release is achieved.
• All mechanicals or art for press are delivered to the selected manufacturing vendor.
  • Disk labels
  • Manual Covers
  • Box or Slip/Slant case
  • Registration card and other inserts
• A first article sample of all components is approved by the responsible person.
  • Product Manager
  • Manufacturing Quality Specialist
  • Material Representative
  • Marketing Graphics Representative
• An updated packaging component schedule is complete and has been delivered to the Materials Department.
• A bill of materials consisting of all expected material components that will be used in the final assembled product is complete.
  • Include cost of direct materials and labor
  • Assembly components must have a part number.
  • Give a description of all components including color, size and title.
• A written assembly procedure is complete and reviewed by the selected manufacturing vendor.
• The Product Team documents a list of improvements and deviations from the Product Life Cycle.
